THE IDEA
I wanted an antivirus I would actually leave running on my gaming PC.
That meant the app should stay quiet when I am playing, keep working if the connection drops, and put scans, history and exclusions where I can reach them quickly. The dashboard can stay out of sight until I actually need it.
I am still building Kraken around that rule: useful first, flashy second. The visual side can be loud; the background work should not be.

Run a quick check, a broader full scan, or point Kraken at one file or folder. Ultra also has a fixed-drive Abyss Scan.

Close the window. Protection keeps going.
Closing the window sends Kraken to the notification area, so protection stays active without leaving a full dashboard on screen. Reopen it from the tray or Start Menu whenever you need it.
